Hey people!

Those of you who have been watching me for a long time knows about this story I have been working on for quite a few years now. It's called Wasteland (you know, with the emo-looking guy called Jonny ). It's been written a few times, discarded, then written only to be discarded again. I know the story in my head, but it never seems right anytime I write it.

Two months ago, I've decided to give it a shot again. I've decided that the setting wouldn't be in our era, since I can't seem to be able to write anything set in modern era. A past setting didn't seem right, so I settled for something else entirely: a post-apocalyptic background.  This seems hardly original, what with all those zombies-based stories that are flourishing all around. Fear not, there are no zombies in my story!

So far, so good. I have been able to write the first chapter and I must say that I am quite satisfied with it so far.

If any of you is interested in reading it, you can find it on my Livejournal. It is not friend-lock, so anybody can read it ^^ It's written in English, too! Sadly, nobody has proof-read it so far, so I'm quite sorry for all the mistakes that may have found their way in the text. Also, the story takes place in Scotland, so I've tried to give my characters a British way of speaking. As English is not even my first language, I apologize in advance if I have failed at it!
